Purusottam Sahoo
Chief Executive Officer
Purusottam Sahoo is the Chief Executive Officer of CLAP and ex-officio Secretary to the Board of Management. He is a Law Graduate and possesses a Masters Degree in Social work. He has been associated with CLAP since 1991 in various capacities. He has a long experience in Project Formulation and Implementation, Monitoring, Evaluation and Documentation of Learning. He has wide exposure into civil society activism especially in the field of protection and promotion of Human Rights.
Sagar Sangam Raju
Manager Programme Development
Sagar Sangam Raju graduated from Madhusudhan Law College, Cuttack and is pursuing his LL.M from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. He is the Manager, Programme Development and his work involves Project Formulation, Resource Mobilization and Portfolio Management. Additionally, he is also the Internship Coordinator and closely works with the interns in their tasks. He also manages the Human Rights Law Students Community (HRLSC).
Swayam Sidhha Mohanty
Manager, Legal Services (Application to HRIs)
Swayam Sidhha graduated from ICFAI University, Dehradun and completed her Masters in Law (LL.M) from National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata. She works as the Manager of Legal Services (Human Right Institutions). Her job involves fact-finding of rights violation in the society, authenticate the data and accordingly submit applications to the appropriate Human Right Institutions. Additionally, she is also in charge of the Media Defence Programme of CLAP Legal Service Institute.
Jashmin Mall , Manager
(Law & Policy Advocacy)
Jasmin Mal graduated from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar and completed her Masters in Law (LL.M) from University Law College, Bhubaneswar. She works as the Advocacy Manager (Law & Policy). Her job involves Legal Analysis, Research, Advocacy and Documentation.
Bijay Kumar Mishra
Legal Advisor
Bijay Kumar Mishra completed his BA in Sarala Maha Vidyalaya, Rahama in 1986 and L.LB from Utkal University in 1995. He has conducted several training programmes on the subjects of human right law, procedural law and family law for Capacity Building of Young Lawyers. He worked as an advocate in CLAP from 2005 to 2014 and presently works as the Legal Advisor of Demonstrative Model Legal Service Clinic of CLAP based in Cuttack city.
Chandra Dev Purohit, Manager
Legal Services (Litigation Support)
Chandra Dev Purohit has been a practicing Advocate in the Odisha High Court for over seven years. He completed his Masters in Law (LL.M) and P.G. Diploma in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management (I.R.P.M.) from Sambalpur University. He works as the Manager of Legal Services (Litigation Support) of CLAP. His job involves preparation of Case Record and coordination with lawyers for conducting cases in the court.
Priyanka Ojha
Registrar, Legal Services
Priyanka Ojha completed her B.Sc. and LL.B from Madhusudhan Law College and is currently pursuing her Masters in Law (LL.M). She has been in practice for over one and half years. She works as the Registrar, Legal Services and her work involves client counseling and registration of cases.
Ajit Kumar Bishoyi
Manager (Front Office)
Mr. Ajit Kumar Bishoyi graduated from Berhampur University after completing his B.A. (Hons.). He works as the Manager, Front Office and in this crucial position, he undertakes the task of identifying the needs of the client/beneficiaries and guiding them to the appropriate department within the organisation.
Salimudin Khan
Community Organizer, Field Office, Badamba
Mr. Salimudin Khan, a trained Para-Legal Volunteer, works as the Para-Legal Activist in the field office of CLAP Legal Service Institute at Badamba, Cuttack. He is presently designated as the Community Organizer for Effective Local Governance for Development Project.
